Foster’s Responsibilities: Foster Parent agrees to the following:

a.) Provide the Dog with a loving, safe, and permanent home.

b.) Provide proper food, water, shelter, and exercise for the Dog.

c.) Ensure the Dog receives regular veterinary care, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, and annual check-ups.

d.) Abide by all local and state laws regarding pet ownership and licenses.

e.) Not sell, transfer, or abandon the Dog. The dog cannot be rehomed without prior written consent from Foster Friends Rescue. If the Foster can no longer care for the Dog, they must inform Foster Friends Rescue to assist with rehoming.

f.) Inform Foster Friends Rescue immediately if the Dog is lost or stolen.

Care and Training: Foster Parents understand that the dog may require training, patience, and adjustment time in its new home. The Adopter agrees to: a.) Provide training as necessary to ensure the dog’s behavior is managed responsibly. b.) Use only positive reinforcement training methods and refrain from any abusive or harmful practices.

Health and Medical Disclosure: Foster Friend Rescue has provided all known medical history of the dog. However, the Rescue makes no guarantees regarding the dog’s long-term health or temperament. The Foster Parent acknowledges that: a.) They accept the dog “as is.” b.) They will assume all future veterinary and care expenses.

Right of Inspection: Foster Parent agrees to allow a representative of the Foster Friend Rescue to visit the dog’s home with advance notice and within a reasonable time after the placement for fostering to ensure the dog is adapting to their new environment and compliance with this Agreement.

Indemnification: Foster Parent agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Foster Friends Rescue from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the adoption, ownership, or behavior of the dog.

Breach of Agreement: If the Foster Parent violates any term of this agreement, the Foster Friends Rescue reserves the right to reclaim the dog without notice if a breech is deemed.

Entire Agreement: By submitting this agreement, you acknowledge and confirm your full understanding of its terms. This agreement constitutes a binding contract between Foster Friend Rescue and the Foster Parent. Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties to be considered valid.
